Change to 700A Stripping Tool

The (blue-handled) 700A Stripping Tool is shown in Figure 1. This tool is used to remove the cordage outer jacket, when terminating 1.6, 2.0, and 3.0 mm cordages. Ideal Industries, Inc., the manufacturer of the (blue-handled) 700A Tool, has discontinued the product; therefore, OFS Connectivity plans to immediately begin shipping the (yellow-handled) Ideal 45-120 T-Stripper, shown in Figure 2, as a replacement. To avoid confusion in the field, the replacement tools will have a note card attached, as shown in Figure 2. The note states “This tool replaces the blue-handled 700A Tool. Use the position marked “20 Stranded” or “18 Solid” to strip 1.6 – 3.0-mm cordage jackets”.|The (blue-handled) 700A Stripping Tool is shown in Figure 1.
