Dielectric optical cable recommended for external installations in ducts. Construction made of Totally dry loose tubes (gel-free) protected with hydro expandable elements to prevent entry and migration of moisture. Tubes assembled around the central element, the core of the cable is protected against moisture by hydro expandable materials and an inner jacket of thermoplastic material. Fiberglass yarns are used as additional protection against rodents. The assembly is protected by an outer jacket of thermoplastic weather resistant material.

Construction
Description
Dielectric optical cable with singlemode or multimode fiber covered with acrylate resin, placed in a gel-free loose buffer tube, stranded around a dielectric central member. Loose tubes and the cable core are protected with a super-absorbent material to deliver water blocking resistance. Cable core is reinforced with dielectric strength fibers and rodent protección, covered with black polyethylene external sheath.
