RightWave EDF MP08-G2 is a medium power fiber, designed for many configurations of EDFAs. It has an optimized gain shape, offering reduced gain ripple in both the extended and conventional C-band, compared with conventional fibers. The bend performance allows coiling down to 6 mm radius, along with the 200 μm coating diameter this helps to reduce the footprint of the amplifier.
