Cable Type
Simplex cordage: totally dielectric, consists of one multimode or singlemode optical fiber coated with acrylate resin and a secondary coating of thermoplastic material (tight buffer). Dielectric strength members and a thermoplastic flame-retardant outer jacket surround the tight buffered fiber.
