SlimBox 12-Fiber Indoor/Outdoor Enclosure
The SlimBox Indoor/Outdoor 12-Fiber is a termination box used to connect distribution cables in the outside plant network to FTTx networks drop cables. The applications include Fiber to the Home, From Building to MDU or Cell site. It enables quick and easy connections of the drop cable through plug-and-play connectorized drops into the box or using fusion splicing. The internal connection is made through pre-terminated splitters or pre-connectorized pigtails.
The drop cables connection and disconnection are made exclusively inside the box without affecting any previously connected cable. The closure allows the installation of up to 12 assemblies using 3mm round drop cables.
The termination box has one area for storage and splicing, and a separate area for the management and the connection of the pigtails to the internal adapters. It is possible to open and close the NAP without interrupting the network operation. It supports up to 20 fusion splices and 2 splitters 1×4 or 01 splitter 1×8.
The aerial terminal is designed for both poles and wall installations. The locking system is compatible with a 3/8 inch hex nut can wrench tool.
