Laserway Manager is a passive optical LAN (PON LAN) management and provisioning platform. The system has a user-friendly graphical user interface to facilitate the configuration of GPON parameters of equipment such as VLAN's, QoS and services. The software is also capable of performing auto-discovery of all network equipment and operating status. Laserway Manager operates in conjunction with the GPON monitoring platform to empower users and provide full control over network assets.

Description

Laserway Manager is an optical LAN network (POL) management and provisioning software. The system has a friendly and user-friendly graphical interface to facilitate the configuration of equipment GPON parameters, such as VLANs, QoS and services. The software is also capable of auto-discovering all network equipment and operating status.

Laserway Manager operates in conjunction with two software:

GPON Monitoring for full monitoring of the assets of the Furukawa network;
Event Handler that is responsible for managing in real time the failures that may happen in the active network, with alarms and notifications (Telegram, e-mail or Webhooks).

Registration, editing and removal of VLANs in the system;
Dashboard with graphic indicators: Quantity of OLTs, Status of ONUs and Quantity of ONUs by OLTs;
Registration of VoIP Servers (SIP Server);
Registration of OLTs by SNMPv2 or SNMPv3;
ONUs listing, dynamic visualization option with results ordering;
QoS and Rate Limit configuration;
Configuration of “bridge” services (tagged and untagged) on the UNI ONU interface;
Configuration for up to 8 service VLANs;
Enable/Disable UNI ONU interface;
Enable/Disable ONU PoE;
802.1X security configuration for the ONU LW110-44B;
ONU configuration reuse (mass application);
Display of ONU information such as: ONU Description, Plan/Profile Name, Model, MAC Address, Optical Power, ONU Distance, Firmware Version, IP-host, etc;
Enable and / or Disable the RF signal for the ONU LD421-21WV;
Possibility to remove the ONU configuration;
Changing PoE ports on already provisioned ONUs;
Auto Discovery of ONUs with their updated status;
Adjustment in the transmission (Tx) and reception (Rx) levels of the telephony gain of each FxS port of the ONU, to change the volume of the call;
Hook-Flash configuration, to put the call on hold to complete the transfer without hanging up the call.

Monitoring

Monitor OLT consumption statistics, such as: memory, CPU, temperature, etc .;
Device Discovery, with manual addition of OLTs (SNMPv2 and SNMPv3) and ONUs;
Automatic discovery of ONUs in OLTs, where it is possible to configure which OLT will perform this functionality;
Viewing ONU information such as: Status, Slot / Port / ID on OLT, Optical Power, Distance to OLT, Temperature, Model, MAC Address, GPON SN and ONU Description;
Interface for viewing and filtering messages from the OLT Syslog;
Dashboards with temperature visualization, Status uptime, Traffic of Uplink interfaces, PON and ONUs ports;
Dashboard with graphic indicators of system usage;
Allows history of the last 6 months;
Dashboard playlist for display at the NOC;
Links to IP-Host / ONU's WEB page;
PING monitoring of generic elements;
Support for third party equipment (SNMPv2 and SNMPv3), with manual creation of Templates for monitoring;
Sending notifications by configurable e-mail for each device.

ONUs authentication control via 802.1x;
Authentication via 802.1x with VLAN assignment;

Export inventory in CSV format.

Maintenance

The maintenance period of the software will depend on the annuity acquired by the customer.

Technical support for the platform has no limit until the end of the product's life.

Business Model

The software includes the Laserway Manager (responsible for configuring the equipment), GPON Monitoring (responsible for monitoring the active network) and the Event Handler (fault management in real time);
The use license is per server;
Limit up to 3,000 monitored ONUs (GPON Monitoring);
The license to use a software maintenance fee is already included;
Renewal of maintenance and support fees is not mandatory, but does not entitle you to software updates after the first year of use;
Note: The server (hardware) is not included in the proposal.
