OPTICAL CABLE CFOT-MM-UTR 12F (62.5) LSZH (OPTIC-LAN-AR (PFV))

Dialectric optical cable with singlemode or multimode optical fiber. Up to 12 optical fibers coated with acrylate buffer resin are placed in a single gel-filled buffer tube to avoid water penetration and to provide crush resistance. This buffer tube is covered with an internal jacket. Over the internal jacket a layer of fiberglass is applied to provide rodent protection. All this is covered by a black termoplastic outer jacket.

Description

All dielectric loose tube type cable with singlemode or multimode optical fiber and rodent protection.

Buffer Tube

The optical fibers are grouped together and protected by a jelly filled tube of thermoplastic material in order to prevent humidity and provide mechanical resistance to the fibers.

Strength member

Dielectric yarns shall be applied over the cable core, to support tensile strength during cable installation.

Inner Jacket

Over basic unit and traction elements a sheath of termoplastic material shall be applied. A rip cord must be included below the internal sheath.

Minimal Rodent Protection Thickness

Layer of fiberglass yarns applied over the internal sheath, with 1,3mm thickness to gain an extra protection against rodents.
