Internal optical distribution box used for derivation of optical cables in typical internal environment of buildings (FTTA). With a capacity of 12 fibers per box in a articulated tray, it can be used in building optical networks (FTTA / MDU), with pre-terminated outputs.

Description

The Slimbox 12 Fiber Distribution Module present as main characteristics:

Ability to perform the termination of optical cables using field connectorizarion ir fusion;
Accommodate up to 12 fusion splices on an articulated optical tray and allows fibers inversion, providing greater flexibility to the product;
It has the following access options:

Adapters card up to 12 SC, MT-RJ or LC-duplex.
Adapters card up to 12 ST or FC.
Blank cards to use the product as optical block, without adapters.

Application

It is used as a termination point for optical fibers at floor of building in indoor environment.

*Can be assemble on DIN rail if the base for DIN rail will be acquired separately.

Advantage

Can be installed in plain horizontal or vertical surface, or in a 19" or 23" rack;
Has ancourage structure of traction elements (aramid);
Allows installation of pigtails or PLC splitters (1×2, 1×4 e 1×8);

Observation: Optical pigtails and optical adapters must be purchased separately.
