The Pre-Terminated optical drop cables connect new subscribers to the access network. They are easily pluggable into the optical termination boxes (Pre-Terminated CTOs from Furukawa), in a way that there is no need to open the closure to activate new subscribers. 

The cable used is the low fricton Fig. 8 with compact dimensions and have steel wire strength member in its composition, allowing the cable to be pushed through ducting pipes without the use of an installation guide.
