Indoor Fiber Distribution Hub
The Lightera Fiber Distribution Hub can be used in an indoor building entrance or telecommunications closet. The wall-mounted unit is designed with 2 separate doors to allow access to one side at a time.
The hub allows for access control between building owners and telecommunications carriers. The hub has one larger area for feeder cables, supporting either factory or pigtail spliced termination, as well as splitters. It supports up to 48 single-fiber splices and 12 1×4 splitters. A separate door provides access to the drop cables, where up to 48 single-fiber SCA or SCU drop cables can be supported.
This hub is part of the Lightera MDU solution that can be supported with connectorized assemblies and drop assemblies as well as the InvisiLight® multifiber cord. The hub can be pre-terminated in the factory on one end, and either spliced or field terminated on the other. It is well suited for applications that utilize the leading-edge EZ-Bend® drops or the Standard patch cord assemblies as drops The use of the EZ-Bend assemblies allows for sharp bends and attachment applications where space is at a premium.
