The LC APC connector has been designed to provide outstanding return loss as well as insertion loss performance. Factory terminated connectors are polished with an 8 degree angle polish for superior return loss. The connector provides superior insertion loss that is comparable to standard single-mode LC connectors. Customers can now have the improved return loss some applications require without sacrificing insertion loss performance. The connector can be easily distinguished from standard non-angled LC connectors by its green housing and boot. The LC APC meets or exceeds Telcordia GR326-CORE requirements.

The Angled LC Splitter Modules, used to house and protect single or multiple optical components and fiber leads, provides an LGX® fiber optic distributing system-compatible format to split or couple broadband laser signals within the central office or head-end. These vertically oriented modules plug into standard LGX shelves, enabling incremental application growth and multiple networking options. The module has front-access simplex Angled LC adapters. The number of adapters depends on the split ratio required.
