The RightWave EDF portfolio has a broad EDF product line with each fiber type optimized for different applications.

RightWave EDF LRXL-G2 is a L-band erbium-doped optical fiber, optimized to enable gain at the longest possible wavelengths, making it ideal for use in extended L-band
amplifiers. In order to minimize the footprint of each amplifier stage, the fiber is supplied with 200 µm coating and a design that may be bent down to 12 mm.

The core composition of the LRXL-G2 has not only been tailored for improved gain in the extended L-band, but also to ensure reliability in hydrogen containing environments.
