Biolab Farmacêutica chooses 100% optical Lightera solution for its new administrative headquarters in São Paulo

Biolab is a pharmaceutical industry whose mission is to develop, produce and commercialize products that improve the quality of life of its consumers. Since 1997, the company has been building a successful trajectory and legacy, and today it is one of the five largest pharmaceutical industries in Brazil. The company has four manufacturing units (three in the state of São Paulo and one in Rio de Janeiro), two research and development centers, 1 distribution center and, in early 2019, expanded its administrative headquarters in the capital of São Paulo.

For the new facilities, the company chose Lightera as a supplier of communication infrastructure, which had the help of Added Soluções em Tecnologia da Informação in implementing the project.

SOLUTION IMPLEMENTED

The company invested in Lightera’s 100% optical Laserway technology, which guarantees the implementation of an advanced and future-proof network infrastructure, with support for various communication services.

With 500 network points installed, the Laserway solution supports the access of Biolab users to the internet and the company’s servers, collaboration tools, access control systems, office automation, the printer network, the service videoconferencing and also the IP telephony system – a novelty introduced at the company’s administrative headquarters, along with Laserway optical technology.
