Lightera at the FTTH Conference 2026 D&O Workshop

As enterprise networks face growing demands for bandwidth, scalability, and energy efficiency, the need for smarter infrastructure is becoming increasingly clear. Fiber-powered networks are helping organizations build environments that are more efficient, more sustainable, and better prepared for the future.

That’s why Lightera is participating in the FTTH Conference 2026 D&O Workshop, Optical LAN: Fiber-powered sustainable and greener enterprise buildings and campuses.

Taking place on Tuesday, 14 April, from 11:30 to 13:00 at Excel London, ICC Maritime Hall 1-6 in London, United Kingdom, the workshop will bring together industry experts to explore how Optical LAN is reshaping enterprise and campus connectivity.

As technologies such as Wi-Fi 7 and AI-driven end-to-end network management continue to raise expectations for performance, flexibility, and efficiency, traditional copper-based LAN architectures are showing their limits. This workshop will examine how Optical LAN offers a strong alternative, helping organizations address growing bandwidth demands, distance limitations, rising power consumption, and long-term scalability requirements.

During the session, Edmond Ayvazian of Lightera will share insights on Optical LAN architecture, system integration, and real-world use cases. His presentation will support greater awareness of Passive Optical LAN (POL) and its role in enabling more sustainable, future-ready enterprise networks across the European market.

The discussion will also highlight the broader advantages of Optical LAN, including simplified network architecture, reduced space requirements, improved sustainability, and lower energy usage in enterprise buildings and campus environments.

At Lightera, we believe infrastructure should do more than meet today’s demands. It should help organizations move forward with confidence, building networks that support progress while reducing complexity and environmental impact.

The FTTH Conference 2026 takes place from 14 April to 17 April 2026 in London. We’re glad to contribute to this important conversation and engage with others shaping the future of enterprise connectivity through optical fiber.
