The Santander Group is one of the most important financial conglomerates in Chile. It has a total of 30 branches and concentrates its operations in a modern 11-story building that has a voice and data network implemented by the integrator Ingelan and supported by Furukawa products. Edifício Paseo Bombero Ossa, the Group’s headquarters, is where the operations of all the holding’s branches in the country are concentrated. That is where the Investment Center is located, which stands out for the high technology applied in the services it offers to its customers and for its aesthetics, which gives international trade exchanges a run for their money in every detail. The voice and data network therefore needed to be up to this high level of demand.

The project implemented a reliable and fast network, consisting of 1,000 voice stations and 1,000 data stations, based on advanced technology products, which did not require a short-term replacement with a distinct standard. That is why the Santander Group chose the network solution with Furukawa´s CAT. 6 structured cabling. All this dedication from Ingelan and Furukawa was recognized by Banco Santander that in the last 4 years granted the integrator the “Quality Provider” award in the Informatics and Telecommunication category, for its commitment and loyalty to the bank.
