The M-Pack Cordage features color-coded 250 µm optical fibers combined with aramid yarns under a structural flame rated jacket. The M-Pack family is offered in three jacket ratings; Plenum, Riser and CPR flame ratings. Plenum rated products range from 2 to 48 fibers, Riser rated 2 to 12 fibers while the CPR rated (LSZH) feature 2 to 12 fibers. For 2 to 12 fiber cordages, the individual fibers are identified by easily-distinguishable TIA-598 compliant colors. In cordages with fiber counts of 16 to 48, the fibers are held loosely together by polyester threads for bundle identification¹.
