The RightWave® Erbium-Doped Fiber (EDF) High Efficiency HE980 Optical Fiber portfolio has a broad EDF product line with each fiber type optimized for different applications.
RightWave® EDF High Efficiency HE980 fiber is designed for low to medium pump powers ranging up to 500mW. It is optimized for pre-amplifier stage in a multi-stage amplifier due to low noise figure with moderate gain. The high NA allows for a smaller bend radius.
