• Wider application: S251 is to be applicable 200um ribbon fiber which previously only applicable by S218R-200.
• Easy to clean removed coat: The bumping texture which S218R has near the heater was eliminated to make it easy to clean removed coating debris.
• Easy to charge: Apply USB Type-C for charging.
• Easy to handling: Added shapes to easy to open lid of heater.
• Lower pulling strength: By changing blade dimension, required pulling strength for 12-fiber ribbon stripping was reduced 40% comparing to S218R-Plus.
• Improvement of workability for outdoor operation: Adapting new LED which is more visible than S218R’s. Added beeping and vibrating function for notifying end of heating for easier recognition.
• More setting variety: S251 has more setting variety of heating time and temperature. While S218 has setting function of 4 step heating temperatures, both heating time and temperature can be adjustable by 5 steps each for S251.
• Shorter waiting time for heating when booting up: Stand-by heating time for S251 is as short as 5 secs, while S218R-Plus needs 20 secs.
